for builing the robot MULLRATS we needet a
millingcircle
here the simple assembly of the tool, built for proxxon
multitool with a 20mm shaft:
works perfect, but i still had problems with making a circle in Perspex (PMMA,
Plexiglas)
the temperature was too high ->material melted -> no smooth
cut was possible
so i tried to cool it with a water syringe, better but not
good
in the end i found a good solution:
first i made a 3mm deep
circle in wood, filled that with water and but the Perspect above for
milling
no watersyringe neccesary and the water cooled from below
i heard
that the best way to cool Perspex is with white spirit (thanks to Rahul)
